10歲 小學4年級的女兒, 準備二月全美學測和佛州考試, 從幼稚園就喜歡寫寫塗塗, 也愛看書. 尤其是課外書籍, 舉凡偵探小說, 世界紀錄全集, 漫話.....無一不愛,想想小時候看漫話都要偷偷的看, 曾幾何時, 她可以大方的看漫話了.
其實是我這老媽教她入門, 剛開始搞不清楚從左從右, 從上從下, 她還覺得麻煩. 會看了之後就喜歡了. 我想很少人會不喜歡的吧. 當然有關狗狗的書, 更是研究到快變狗醫師了. 總之, 看書是好事, 圖書館的書也不用錢, 愛看多少是多少. 所以常常星期一才借了兩大袋的, 怎麼不到兩天就說看完了.
一直到上了四年級, 為了學測, 學校正式有了寫作課. 她很喜歡這堂課,老師給個題目, 30分鐘內需完成. 要有起承轉和讓讀者吸睛的內容.
以下這篇是這個月(Jan,2010)被老師選出的全班最高分作品. 題目是不喜歡做的事. 看似嚴肅的題目 她寫起來還滿幽默. 幫狗狗撿便便是不討好的工作. 但自她得了高分回來, 跑去和拉拉分享, 不但大聲的念給牠聽, 還感謝牠的便便, 讓她得好分, 也更愛拉拉.

Picture this: having to pick up smelly, mushy, infested with flies poop. That’s the chore I don’t like doing: picking up my dog’s poop.
First of all, it is SUPER stinky. It’s smellier than the smell you smell after your brother goes to the bathroom! It’s sooooo stinky that I have to wear a mask when I pick “it” up. I mean, if YOU are going to pick the poop up, wouldn’t you wear a mask to avoid the horrible smell? Sometimes, it’s so smelly that I almost lose my eyesight! Who would want to pick up yucky poo?
Another reason why I don’t like picking up poo is because you could find something that you were looking for in the poop! It’s disgusting! I remember a time when I was looking for balloons so my sister and I could have a water balloon fight, and guess what? When I went to pick up the poop that day, the balloons were in his poop! It was as colorful as a rainbow! It almost made me puke!
I hate picking up this repulsive poop because it’s HUGE! It’s as colossal as a Frisbee! I mean, it’s bad enough! Who, I mean, WHO would like picking up gargantuan poop every single week?! Most of the time, I even have to use my own two hands (with gloves of course) and I would have to tie my Labrador , so he wouldn’t make more! It’s a horrifying one-way ticket to poopie land!
Now you REALLY know why I hate picking up the horrific poop. So if you get a dog, especially a large one, always, ALWAYS remember that you have some responsibilities to fulfill and one of them WILL be picking up your dog’s poop.

真的寫的不錯呢, 用字也很豐富, 我幫人家帶過golden retriver, poop 真的很大一堆......如Stephanie講的. ha.....
